The Hope has a Home!

Dearest Mission Of Hope Friends;

Since our beginning in 1996 we have been blessed to have friends of our ministry provide office and warehouse space for our needs. Our first building was provided by Wood Properties, on two occasions we were provided space by the Metron Company. We also were provided space by the Turley Company and currently are in space provided by Brownlee Company. Sometimes the space has been provided at no charge, and other times with a reduced rent. But in time we have needed to move forward when our friends needed their building space back.

Two years ago we began dreaming and visioning a permanent "Home For The Hope". We have been blessed with various grants and donations since that time. One of our main concerns and goals is to be good stewards with the grants and financial donations we have been blessed with. We have had a dedicated building committee of eleven men and myself which have continually searched for space or land to build on. We thought we were close to having a donation of land from a dear Church team that was preparing to build, but in the end it just didn't work out.

We have had a major development and miracle take place in our search for our "Home for The Hope" in recent days. We have located a building which is very centrally located and right down the street from where we currently are. It actually has the exact amount of Warehouse Space we were looking for (20,000 square feet), it also has the exact amount of Office Space we need (2,100 square feet). The building also has additional acreage which we could possibly expand on. The building is located at 6030 Industrial Heights Drive; which is off Amherst; which is right off Middlebrook Pike. The building is actually in very good condition requiring very little work to be done before we move in. Our awesome Mission Of Hope Volunteer Force can do almost all the cosmetic and construction work needed. There are many other positive attributes with the building which amazingly meet almost everything we have prayed for. Even the purchase price of $860,000 is well below our budget and reflects our sensitivity of being good stewards of what God has provided for this humble ministry.

I am also immensely grateful to share with you that we have currently raised and have commitments for $660,000 in our Mission Of Hope Building Fund. I feel strongly and with all my heart that we can raise the remainder of the funds needed, so that we will not even need a mortgage. The closing date is set for January 3, 2008. Please remember that our heartfelt goal is: "To Have The Title In Our Back Pocket When We Put The Key In The Front Door". We can do this with God's Provision. I am simply asking if you can deem us worthy of a one time year end contribution to this goal, we would be immensely grateful. You can reach us at: Mission Of Hope; P.O. Box 22312; Knoxville, TN 37933.

God has blessed us by bringing us to this point in our search and we have been blessed as he has been by our side and even working ahead of us; as we strive to trust Him for our needs. We thank you for your friendship and support and we ask that you keep this entire process uplifted in the spirit of Prayer.

Sincerest Appreciation From Your Friend;

Mission of Hope is more than just toys, clothes, food and gifts at Christmas; or Back To School supplies in the Fall. It really is about sharing Hope throughout the year by meeting both basic physical and spiritual needs.

We trust you will help us to extend the Hope to our neighbors in need, just up the road in rural Appalachia. When you do something for others, you're really doing something for yourself as you follow the Golden Rule!

It takes so little on our part to make a huge difference in someone else's life. Thanks for helping Mission of Hope to continue sharing the Hope!
